Nerd Alert!
The O.C. creator Josh Schwartz and director McG (We Are Marshall) bring us Chuck, a new series laced with humor about young twenty-something spies. Zachary Levi (Less Than Perfect) plays Chuck Bartowski, a nerdy computer tech who has a database of government secrets downloaded into his brain. Chuck soon finds himself recruited by John Casey (Adam Baldwin), a veteran NSA Agent, for espionage work with his new partner (and first date in ten years) Sarah (Yvonne Strahovski) - leading Chuck to live a split life of computer geek and secret NSA missions.
I really wasn't expecting the show to be this good! I kept seeing the trailer on TV and finally decided to sit down and now this I like. I must admit I am a sucker for detective dramas and cute nerds. CHUCK is a funny and amazing show which has both of my interest. I started watching this in CS and now I am hooked! I haven't completed the 1st season though. Now I must brave the outside world again to find a dvd copy of the series and again succumb to my room and be lost in the world of Chuck.
Guest stars includes Rachel Bilson and Nicole Richie among the few..how cool can you get right? Season 2 is coming this September..can't wait!!!

I just got this email, ridiculing once again Piolo Pascual and Sam Milby. The email’s subject said, “Dyosabel, Ang Tatalo Sa Dyesebel,” a pun on the upcoming Anne Curtis starrer, “Dyosa.” Anne Curtis is rumored to be the girlfriend of Sam Milby. And of course, the pic that accompanied the email is ultimately a dig on Piolo Pascual and Sam Milby who in the pic are depicted as mermaids ala Dyesebel. Mermaids or “sirena” in local parlance means “super sireyna, lol.” The email originated from a certain call center and although there is a warning of it not to be distributed aside from their circle, it spread like wildfire in the email inboxes of so many Filipinos, mostly yuppies.

A boss wondered why one of his most valued employees had not arrived at work or rung in sick. Having an urgent problem with one of the main computers, he rang his home phone number and was greeted with a child's whisper.
'Is your daddy home?' he said
'Yes' whispered the small voice
'May I talk with him?'
The child whispered ' No.'
Surprised and wanting to talk to an adult, the boss asked
'Is Mummy there?' ...

There's a new buzz that Emma Watson will be the new face of Chanel adorable fragrance Coco Mademoiselle. She is successful, famous and rich and what is more, she is only 18. Emma Watson has just signed a $6 million deal with Chanel. Emma replaced Keira Knightley. May be because brand leaders get tired of her image or may be because she is 23. The contract will last 2 years. Leading model agency Storm will be responsible for Watson while on photos. The possessions will start this summer.
I think this would be great! Not only Emma Watson is adorable, she is definitely chic and has blossomed to be a gorgeous lady. No offense to Keira but Emma is a breath of fresh air don't you think? Im sure you guys will agree to that.

I fell in love with Po..the panda in Kung Fu Panda!
Seriously...this is the best animated movie ever!!!!! I have never laughed so hard in a movie before until this..umpisa pa lang sumasakit na panga ko sa kakatawa! Eric and I could not contain ourselves from laughing so hard.
Plus points for the fantastic animation and graphics! If you want a movie that will make your problems and stress go away diz iz it! You guys should watch this!

Colleage and friend Ces Oreña Drilon is currently missing in Sulu along with her TV crew. May I ask for your prayers so they will come home safely.
Ces has always been one brave gal who is willing to face the risks to get a good scoop. This case is no exception. She knows being threatened or kidnapped are just some of the hazards of the profession. But I know her boys are missing her right now. While I know Ces to be a very dedicated journalist, she is also very devoted to her children.
To her captors, please release Ces and her crew now.

Dangerous secret in the colored straws
Thought of sharing this to everyone.
Horrible story of mine goes back to year 2005 March. I ordered a Club Sandwich and a Sprite in a restaurant somewhere in Manila . When I finished half of the sandwich I sipped a sprite. But it did not taste like an ordinary sprite I used to drink. So I sipped once more, but it still tasted the same. It tasted like a sprite mixed with some kind of oil. I called the clerk and asked him if the sprite was expired. He said it was just delivered today. So I asked him to taste it. Then he also found that something was wrong with it.. Both of us were wondering for a while.
Then I got to look inside the straw. There were a lot of tiny black round things that looked like eggs. So I cut the middle of the straw lengthwise to have a better look. Yuck. There were a lot of tiny black round things in it. I suppose they were eggs of cockroach. About 1000 eggs were there. Then I began to check all the other straws in the straws case one by one. Almost all of them contained black eggs that seemed to be either the cockroach eggs or excretions. After the incident I began to check all the straws in the restaurants and fast food chains that I had gone to. Almost of all the straws contained the same black eggs. Especially the darker the colors of straws, the more black eggs were found. In black straws, extreme amount of black eggs were found. It was found out that it is because the cockroaches live (hatch eggs and excrete) in the dark places.
Research result : Amount of germs and cockroach excretion/eggs found
Jollibee - RED straws - 88.89%
Chowking - RED straws - Almost the same as above
Local Restaurants - BLACK straws - 225% above
McDonalds - WHITE straws - 0.5%
Starbucks - Straws covered with white wrappers - 0%
The fact is 80% or more restaurants in the malls use red or black colored straws so be careful. It only takes a few second to check the straw before using.
